I'm Kat Elizabeth Millard and it's lovely to meet you! I am predominantly a wildlife and landscape photographer and artist enthusiast currently residing in regional Victoria, with intention to expand my photography to include client sessions (the 'let me join you on your adventure' kind!). I blend my love of nature with my creative eye, and I also create delicate watercolour and pencil artworks, mostly using Caran d’Ache mediums. As an artist I draw upon original photographs to draw landscapes and wildlife using Caran d'Ache watercolour and colour pencils, with occasional blend of pastel. All artworks are available for sale, and many available to purchase as prints.
Kookie Completed in 2024, this piece was drawn using a photograph prompt. The artwork uses pastel and Caran d'Ache pencil. The original artwork is available for purchase.
Koala This artwork was completed in 2025, and drawn from a photo taken by a photographer friend (with permission). The mediumwas pastels and Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils. Both the original framed aftwork and prints are available for purchase.
The Jetty and the Cormorant Completed using Watercolour Pencils (watercolour not set). This original was purchased in 2023 by a local to Coffs Harbour who connected with this painting due to childhood memories of the Coffs Harbour Jetty. Photo original was from my collection. Prints of this artwork are available for purchase.
Bondi at Sunset This artwork was drawn from a photo from my own collection after a visit to Bondi Beach with my daughter in 2024. The artwork was completed using pastels and Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils, with a touch of watercolour and gauche for hightlights. Both the original framed artwork and prints are available for sale.
Coffs Harbour Jetty Completed using Caran d'Ache Luminance coloured pencils. Photo of inspiration was from my own collection. This original was gifted to my Mum Helga for Christmas in 2023, after she fell in love it! Prints of this artwork are available for purchase.
